Tell me again how this happened? I said looking at the obnoxious white walls that hurt my eyes. The smell was intoxicating and not in the good way. Let me start from the beginning, maybe then you will understand how I came to be in this predicament.
It was Feudal Era time and I was a simple farm girl. My parents had died in a fire when I was young and my older brother Souta took care of me. I was about fourteens summers old when the proclamation for a bride to the King came demanding every available woman in the country. I begged my brother to let me stay, but he shook his head and said it would be a better life if I was picked. Well, went I did, and picked I was. I had started thinking that maybe it wouldn't be that bad to be pampered and taken care off boy was I wrong well, not about that pampering. I'm pretty sure that if I had gotten pampering it would have felt nice. What I was wrong about was the GETTING part. From the moment I became his fiance I was his slave. I was forced to clean, cook for him; he even had the gale to make me watch him have sex with another girl! He beat me when I did anything wrong, once he slashed me in the side with a teeth knife! Well, he had me start taking daily trips to the near by village, just to get him random stuff. One day I met a hanyou. His name was Inuyasha. He had wild blue hair and the cutest silver doggy ears on top of his head! His eyes were a warm amber always so gruff.
As you can clearly read I was smitten with him. We quickly fell in love. He would always say words of endearment in my ear and take me away to the most beautiful places. I told him about my fiance and he asked if I wanted him to anything to him. I simply laughed and said no. I thought we were forever, but I soon learned that it was not to be. My fiance brought me into his office one day and there sitting next to him laughing was Inuyasha. What's going on? I had asked frightened. Kagome, allow me to explain. I was never in love with you. I was in love with Kikyou. Your fiance just paid me to have some fun with you. Inuyasha had told.
My world had shattered that day. I had become so distraught that in my anger I had nicked my fiance in the arm. He growled at me saying something in a language I couldn't understand. I felt searing pain in my abdomen. My vision was getting blurry. I kneeled on my hands and arms and started screaming. I don't remember much except the pain, but what I do remember was that my yell had turned into a bark. My fiance and Inuyasha had laughed at me saying that I would be good sport to hunt now that I couldn't bitch at them. I growled as they gained ground on me. I raced out of there as fast as I could on four legs. I don't know how I lost them, but I did. After that I learned something, my fiance had made me above humans. He had given me a youkai life and youkai healing. Probably the better to hunt you my dear!
And thus this brings us near the point of present time. It was the year 2007; the streets were full of the hustle and bustle of people, cars rushing across streets. Honestly, the people of these new years were always in such a hurry. Well, I was looking through some trashcans for food, degrading I know. When I saw a little girl crossing the street chasing a butterfly. Can you guess what happened next? That's right, speeding car. I raced across the street and pushed her out of the way, taking the blow. Oh, I could see it now. The pain I was anticipating for the on coming day, WHILE I was already feeling pain. I felt a drop of warm liquid fall onto my fur. Oh, please tell me it's not going to rain! I lifted my head weakly and saw the little girl crying, her tears falling into my fur. I licked her cheek, comforting her. She looked up and smiled at me. She looked up above me and screamed someone's name, my ears flattening to my head.

Sesshoumaru's POV
"Rin? Would you like some hot chocolate?" The man asked the little girl. His silver silk hair waving in the chilly winter air. His golden eyes looking at her. The little girl smiled at him and nodded, her lop sided ponytail swinging with the air. Sesshoumaru turned his back on her and back to the woman at the stand. Next thing he knew. "OH MY GOD! THAT LITTLE GIRL'S GONNA GET HIT!" He turned just in time to see a black blob push Rin out of the way. He raced across traffic to see Rin crying over an injured dog. The dog licked her face and she smiled. She looked up and saw him. She screamed his name making the dog fold its ears to its head. Sesshoumaru picked up Rin and looked at the driver. "Oh my god! Is she alright?" A young girl came out screaming. The woman took one look at him and her eyes became clouded with lust. "Please! Let me pay you back!" The girl twirled her shoulder length black hair in her fingers, her red eyes watching his every move.
Sesshoumaru sneered when little Rin tugged on his sleeve. "Papa, the pretty doggie's still hurt." Rin whispered in his ear. He looked over to see that the dog had dragged itself off the road and onto the sidewalk. Smart dog, he thought. Yura looked at the dog and scrunched up her nose. She stared at Sesshoumaru. "I'll take care of little wittle puppy!" Yura screeched in fake cheerfulness. Sesshoumaru shook his head. No, this scantily clad woman wouldn't take care of the dog. He would take the dog to a vet, pay the bill, then drop it off at a shelter. "That's quite fine. I'm more then capable of taking care of the dog that saved my daughter's life." Sesshoumaru pulled out his cell phone and called Jaken. Jaken arrived a few minutes later with the limousine. "Jaken, I need you to take Rin and have her close her eyes." Sesshoumaru said as he went towards the dog. Jaken put Rin into the limousine and had her close her eyes. Sesshoumaru kneeled next to the dog and held out his hand.

Kagome's POV
Kagome looked up to feel the man next to her, he held out his hand and she scoffed at him. 'He doesn't expect me to get all friendly and sniff his hand like a good little doggy does he?' She saw him scowl and move towards her. "Stupid dog. If it wasn't for Rin I wouldn't even be taking you to the vet." Sesshoumaru growled. Kagome snarled. 'I don't need your charity case pussy!" Kagome leaned forward and he pulled back just in time to avoid getting bitten. "Take it or leave it dog." Kagome huffed and laid her head back down. 'Hey! If you want to spend the money buddy! Just don't think I'm stickin around anymore then that! I won't be turned into a common, fat, lazy, house trained pet!'
Sesshoumaru taking that as a sign picked up the dog and carried it to his limousine. "Rin keep your eyes closed." Rin nodded as she sat with her eyes closed. Sesshoumaru laid the dog next to him as Jaken drove to the vet. "Is the pretty doggy gonna be otay?" Rin asked, her brows scrunched up in concern. "Yes, Rin. The pretty dog is just a little sick, but the vet will take good care of him." Rin shook her head vigorously and Sesshoumaru thought she got upset again. "No, papa. Pretty Doggy is a she!" Sesshoumaru looked at his daughter curiously then down to the dog. Yup! She's a she alright!
